FoundersBeyond is a family-owned business born from Kurt and Tara Arnold's shared passion for travel that combines inspiring destinations with world-class service and exquisite private estates, culminating in not just a vacation but an experience beyond imagination.
Tara, a Louisiana native, and Kurt, a proud Texan, have always shared a love for adventure, travel, and creating unforgettable memories together. Their journey to owning Beyond started in 2016 when they spent seven weeks visiting islands across the Caribbean, initially in search of a place to call their home away from home. They both fell in love with Turks and Caicos and the exclusive Leeward subdivision on Grace Bay. Several visits and many property tours later, Tara insisted she only wanted the abandoned and then dilapidated properties that now feature Sole E Mare and Estate of Grace. Everyone on the Island advised them against that stretch of beach, noting that the properties were impossible to obtain, intertwined with legal obstacles, and owned by a notorious character. Undeterred, Tara spent the following three years piecing together deals to secure the properties and develop the Estate of Grace and Beyond along more than 800 feet of pristine beachfront.
Acquiring over 18 acres in Turks and Caicos was just the start of their development of Beyond and its exclusive estates and experiences. The Arnolds harnessed their experiences traveling to some of the most exclusive villas in the world into obtaining and developing properties in sought-after destinations and offering a level of bespoke service and experiences they initially sought for their family to others. Each awe-inspiring estate has been handpicked by the Arnolds, and their dedicated staff have been meticulously trained to cater to the unique needs of ultra-high-net-worth travelers from across the world.
Tara, a lawyer by training, hospitality visionary at heart, built every detail of Beyond around a simple belief: our most precious resources are family and time. Kurt, a world-renowned trial lawyer and founder of the most prestigious trial firm in the country, Arnold & Itkin LLP, shares Tara's love of immersive and bespoke travel and brings the sporting fun to each Beyond Estate.
Tara's vision continues to guide everything we do. Kurt ensures the standards and ambition she set remain at the heart of Beyond. Together with Tara's sister, Taylor, who now leads day-to-day operations, the Arnold family is committed to honoring and growing the dream Tara built.

Taylor Williams leads brand and guest experience at Beyond, shaping the vision and details that define each stay. As the sister of Beyond’s founder, Tara, Taylor has been closely connected to the brand, understanding its vision and now carrying it forward with the same commitment to detail and elevated guest experiences.
With a background in project management and prior director-level experience, Taylor ensures every element is intentionally crafted and seamlessly executed. Her passion for photography, design, and storytelling informs the brand’s visual identity, while her creative direction extends across content and social media, capturing the Beyond experience in a way that feels natural, refined, and deeply personal.
From the smallest details within the villas to the full arc of the guest journey, Taylor focuses on creating environments that feel intuitive and meaningful. She believes true luxury is found in what has already been considered, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the moment and leave with experiences that stay with them long after they return home. In honoring Tara’s legacy, Taylor continues to uphold the vision, care, and intention that shaped Beyond from the start.
Joseph “Joey” Chavez is a chef, hospitality operator, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience leading luxury culinary and guest experiences across the country. As the newly appointed COO of Go Beyond Luxury, Joey oversees hospitality operations, culinary programming, service standards, and experiential development across the company’s expanding portfolio of luxury properties and destinations.
Before stepping into executive leadership, Joey built a nationally recognized culinary career working in some of the country’s most respected kitchens, including The French Laundry, Bouchon, Spago, The Slanted Door, and Brennan’s of Houston, where he served as Executive Chef. His culinary journey has also included extensive international travel and stages at globally acclaimed restaurants including Alinea, Masa, and Eleven Madison Park.
Joey is also the founder of The Hidden Truffle, a luxury culinary and events brand known for elevated private dining experiences, curated pop-ups, and hospitality-driven storytelling. Through his work, he has developed a reputation for blending Michelin-level technique with warm, personalized hospitality and operational excellence.
As COO of Go Beyond Luxury, Joey brings together culinary artistry, operational leadership, and guest-centric hospitality to help scale the company’s vision of ultra-luxury experiences worldwide. His focus centers on building systems, elevating service culture, developing world-class food and beverage programs, and creating unforgettable moments for guests across every property and destination.

A distinguished resident of Turks and Caicos since 2005, Marvin brings decades of elite hospitality experience to Beyond. Prior to joining the team, he held key roles at premier Caribbean destinations and managed the most exclusive private villas on the island, planning ultimate getaways for ultra-high-net-worth
families, A-list celebrities, entertainers, and sports legends.
Known for his meticulous attention to detail, hands-on leadership, and unwavering dedication, Marvin consistently delivers seamless, exceptional experiences. He is the epitome of the Beyond brand and the person who ensures every moment in Turks and Caicos exceeds expectations.

Andi is an accomplished Indonesian chef with decades of international culinary experience. He started his career in Jakarta and has worked across Dubai and Abu Dhabi including an award-winning Asian fusion restaurant where he earned a Bronze Medal at the Emirates Salon Culinaire. His culinary contributions were featured at Amanyara's 10-Year Anniversary Celebration, numerous exclusive events and the prestigious Four Hands Dinners with Chef Susur Lee.
Andi now brings his culinary and hospitality experiences from across the world exclusively to guests at Beyond in Turks & Caicos. He is known for his mastery of fusion, Asian, Italian, Mediterranean, gluten-free and vegetarian cuisines as well as his professionalism and creativity.

Grant Noble is the founder of Island House LVM — a luxury hotelier and professional property manager with decades of international experience at some of the most sought-after hotels and private islands in the Caribbean. His career includes General Manager roles at Seven Stars Resort and Spa, COMO Parrot Cay, and The Ritz-Carlton, Jamaica.
Grant has called Turks and Caicos home for over a decade and is passionate about sharing the Island House LVM ethos: exceptional properties, exceptional people, and exceptional service as the standard.
